I founded Express
Parking Services, Inc. back in the early 90's. My success with this
company is based on years of experience as a Valet Parker. In the
late 1980's, I came to Dallas and began my career as a Parking Attendant.
I worked throughout the Dallas metroplex at restaurants, night clubs,
country clubs, private parties and music halls. Every year I learned
more and more about customer relations and the intricacies of management.
Many of the locations that I worked back in the late 80's are still
around today as either new clubs or restaurants or are new buildings
altogether.
The
enjoyment of working with customers and the interaction that the
parking business provides is the true catalyst that enabled me to
form Express Parking Services, Inc.
Throughout
the years, new business and personal relationships have been formed.
The different people that I have met and presently deal with have
the same thoughts in their minds. They all want their customers
to have a pleasant experience as they enter each of their own venues.
It is also apparent to me that the parking attendant is the first
impression that customers get when entering a particular venue;
therefore, I personally screen all new workers before they become
part of my team.
With
this in mind, I have tried to put together a team of workers that
mirror my own work ethic and ideas of how things ought to be done.
My thoughts have always been the same, "If I put together a
great team of workers, then business will expand on it's own rhythm."
This philosophy has proven to be correct.
